SAMSUNG C3060R REVIEW - A PHONE WITH SOS BUTTON ON SIDE
Samsung has announced a mid range hand set C3060R , a simple beauty with nothing complicated in it specially for those who use mobile phone as basic as it should be. Its solid block construction, a candy bar should I say more technically.
Using a combination of straightforward design, simplified menus, large text and lots of online help, the C3060R has a certain appeal. The menus have just five items on them to make them easy to use, and the C3060R isn't over-burdened with features either.
Samsung say in particular that the C3060R is suited to older customers, but the large fonts and clearly labeled keys may be useful for those with some visual impairment, and even the most ardent technology fans sometimes want a phone that is easy to use.
One neat feature is a red "SOS" button displays five emergency contact numbers which the user can then select from. If the SOS button is pressed down for a few seconds, then it will automatically dial the first number. This is a good idea, but the main drawback is that the button itself seems quite small.
